What to include
- Your macOS version.
- The ClipBuffer version (shown in Finder under Get Info).
- What you pressed and what you expected to happen.
- Whether ClipBuffer is switched on in System Settings under Privacy & Security, Accessibility.
Common problems
The shortcut opens the list but nothing is pasted
Turn ClipBuffer on in System Settings under Privacy & Security, Accessibility. If it is already on, switch it off and on again, then restart the app.
ClipBuffer is not in the Accessibility list
Open the app from the Applications folder, not from the disk image. If macOS still hides it, remove the quarantine flag from Terminal with xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ClipBuffer.app and open the app again.
macOS does not open the app the first time
Control-click ClipBuffer in Applications, choose Open, then Open again. macOS asks this once for apps downloaded outside the App Store.
The history is empty after a restart
This is how it works: the history is kept in memory only and starts empty each time the app launches.
Paste does not work in a password field
macOS blocks programmatic paste into password fields. Paste there by hand with ⌘V after choosing the item from the list.
